This evening, the legendary rappers IAM and MC Solaar thrilled the spectators at the Nîmes arenas.

This Saturday evening, the Marseille rappers IAM – with MC Solaar as opening act – were at the Nîmes festival, the stopover city of their “HH History Tour”.

In the first part, it is another emblematic rapper of the 90/2000 MC Solaar who reminded us of his sharp pen, particularly through the song Solaar cries. Then place IAM. If some of the five singers – Akhenaton, Shurik’n, Kheops, Imhotep and Kephren – have less hair than at the time – in a video broadcast by the group itself, their voice and committed texts, they do not haven’t aged a bit.

The group made its fans sing with “Little Brother”, “Samouraï” or “The Empire of the Dark Side”. Old hits but still very current in society. Other themes of these committed rappers: slavery with the Tam Tam of Africa. During the concert, the spectators will not have missed the break steps, always well executed, by Shurik’n who celebrated his 58th birthday. Nor the energy of a pumped-up Akhenaten.

This tour is also an opportunity for the group to present their new album: Without Values. This evening at the Nîmes arenas, IAM demonstrated one thing: they are immortal.
