The Château de Montaigne in Dordogne in the spotlight on France 3

The Château de Montaigne is the star of a television show this Saturday June 15. The magazine Julie’s Notebooksbroadcast on France 3, stops in Périgord for an issue on the philosopher Michel de Montaigne and his culinary tastes.

Show filmed in March 2023

The journalist Julie Andrieu came to Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne for filming on March 10, 2023. “We can’t wait to see the result. We’ve been waiting for the show for a long time”, rejoices Sarah Bouremi, the director of the castle. She describes a day “very nice, friendly. Julie Andrieu was very accessible, very professional”.

The show ends with a big banquet in the Château de Montaigne.

As usual, Julie Andrieu roamed the Bergeracois with her red Peugeot 304 convertible. She also went to lamprey fishermen and in a binding and restoration workshop for old books in Périgueux.
