Why you need to go: If you don’t drive a real Formula 1 Grand Prix car, you can put your driving skills to the test at the Montreal Eaton Center, right across from the Sephora store. During this immersive experience, racing simulators, an interactive wall, a challenge pit stop and a photobooth will be open to the public.

Do yoga by the river

Why you have to go: If you want to spend a moment of relaxation and zenitude, know that a yoga session followed by spiritual training in honor of Ocean Week will be organized at the Plage de l’Ocean. Clock, on the banks of the river in the Old Port of Montreal.

The Great Montreal Book Sale
Price: $0.50 to $4 per document
When: June 8 to 16, 2024 – Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., weekdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Why you have to go: The Great Montreal Book Sale, organized by Les Amis de la Bibliothèque de Montréal, will be held at the Martin-Bracteur arena from June 8 to 16, 2024. This will be an opportunity to replenish book shelves. your library with finds from more than 150,000 books which will be sold between $0.50 and $4. There will be something for everyone, so you should come away with a few books to read without having to pay bookstore prices.

First Fridays

Why you need to go: From June 7 to 9, the summer street food festival First Fridays will be back with a monthly edition that spans three days rather than one, for the first time ever.
With a theme putting Asia in the spotlight during the launch of this event, food trucks, live musical performances on the site and several activities will be there. Don’t forget to include this outing in your weekend schedule.
Accessibility: The Esplanade of the Olympic Park is accessible to people with reduced mobility, but sanitary facilities adapted for people in wheelchairs are located at the entrance to the administrative offices at 4141 avenue Pierre-De Coubertin.

Why you have to go: To bring the Grand Prix festivities to the streets of Montreal, Studios Accento, Tipica and DJ Chano have joined forces to offer two evenings of Latin dance, including small free lessons. On Friday, learn reggaeton and afro-dance steps, then on Saturday, it’s time for bachata.
