Get ready, Toronto, your summer day trips just got better! ParkBus has announced the return of its TD Rouge Express, a free shuttle that connects Toronto to Rouge National Urban Park from June to October.
Every Saturday from June 15 to October 13, the bus will take you from downtown Toronto directly to the park, completely free.

According to ParcBus, you will be dropped off in the day-use area of the Toronto Zoo, so you can also take advantage of this opportunity to visit the zoo.
To benefit from the free shuttle, simply reserve your place in advance online. Please note that you will need to provide a $15 credit card deposit to secure your spot, which will be refunded upon arrival to claim your spot.
Those planning to visit the Toronto Zoo must have a pre-purchased ticket before boarding the bus.
There will be two free shuttles running, one with a pickup time of 9 a.m. and another at 12 p.m. on each of the scheduled days.
The downtown Toronto pickup location is approximately 100 meters north of the Yonge-Bloor subway entrance, near the Yonge Street entrance.
Passengers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to keep things moving on schedule.
It’s also important to keep in mind that school buses are used for this route, which means there is no air conditioning or bathrooms on board. But hey, a free ride is a free ride!

Discover Canada’s natural wonders through the park’s rich assemblage of forests, streams, farms and trails, as well as marshes, a beach on Lake Ontario and human history spanning 10,000 years.
ParkBus also offers trips to other destinations in Ontario, including popular places like Wasaga Beach. Although these are not free.
