As part of their partnership, the citizen structure “72h du Sine-Saloum” and the Kaolack Academy Inspectorate received a significant donation of solid waste collection equipment. This donation, offered by Fallou Kébé on June 1, includes 200 garbage bins, including 150 for schools and 50 for the National Police Mobile Intervention Group (GMI).

This gesture aims to improve waste collection systems in Kaolack schools and within the police station. In a context where the appeal of the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, is also a center of reflection, this donation takes on a patriotic dimension.

Fallou Kébé, promoter of the Festival of support and support for the institutions and populations of Kaolack, declared: “If the President of the Republic launches a solemn appeal to the entire Senegalese population, young people in particular, we have no other concern than to mobilize all the active forces of the commune of Kaolack, the sporting world in general, to join us in this patriotic spirit and mark a relevant contribution of youth to the process of citizenship training in our country”.

This initiative aims to show young people the behaviors to adopt to be useful to their country and preserve their environment. After having equipped the central market, educational establishments as well as military and paramilitary cantonments, the “72h of Sine-Saloum” program intends to continue its civic actions. Fallou Kébé underlined the importance of their contribution to the Kaolack sanitation program and the fight against diseases linked to unsanitary conditions.
