CREPS Route de Bezannes, 51100 Reims Reims 51100 Croix-Rouge Marne Grand Est 03 26 86 70 10 https://creps-reims.fr The idea of creating a Regional Center for Popular and Sports Education in Reims was launched in 1967 to replace the one in the city center on the site of a former textile factory. The project was stopped in 1977 with the aim of ensuring the training of sports executives and promoting popular education activities, through the organization of sports courses, and the reception of athletes. Led by INSEP (National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance), the project aims to create and manage a network of infrastructures for sports performance.

Indeed, the CREPS is located in a magnificent green space of 22,000 m2 composed of sports and educational facilities in the heart of the Croix-Rouge district for athletes, trainees in professional training, and local and national association partners. The latter has in particular a multifunctional hall, ensuring access to administrative services, dining rooms, the library and the foyers. The gymnasium is suitable for several sports disciplines such as basketball, gymnastics, archery, and has three training rooms (combat sports, bodybuilding, weightlifting and dance). All this equipment allows the CREPS to also become a center for national recruitment competitions (PE aggregation, sports teaching, labor inspector). Gradually, new buildings will see the light of day, such as: the tennis hall in 1995, the athletics hall in 2001, the dojo-fencing complex in 2007, and in 2011 a new athletics track.
