Today bringing together 77 major brands, the UMC co-manages the “champagne” appellation with the General Union of Winegrowers, within the Interprofessional Champagne Wine Committee.
The Union des Maisons de Champagne has been based since 1919 on rue Marie Stuart, in a private mansion dating from the mid-19th century. The Council room has a panoramic decor printed “on the plate” by the Zuber factory: the Eldorado model, created in 1848.
