Like many surrounding villages, Labastide-Beauvoir celebrates the start of summer from July 5 to 7.
It starts on Friday 5th at 7pm with a Happy Hour (it’s aperitif time!) before the Supersonic brass band sounds. Between 10pm and 2am, DJ Megamix 2000 will make the decks squeak. Of course, food trucks (catering and refreshments) and a funfair will also be there.
Saturday 6, a little fitness in the morning at 9:30 a.m. with a family hike which will perhaps allow some to discover new landscapes. At 2:30 p.m., the pétanque court will be invaded by bowlers for a big competition. Accompanied children will be able, from 4 p.m., to take part in a big treasure hunt (yes, there will be several!). A large meal will end the day: aperitif, mixed salad, paella or macaronade, croustade, wine and coffee for €20 (adults) or €10 (children).
Finally, on Sunday 7th, after the 11am mass and the laying of the wreath, the town hall will offer an aperitif. At 3pm, the belote tournament will begin. At 6pm, there will be an introduction to Bachata, a dance of Cuban origin, for those who want to move to music! Food trucks and a funfair will remain available.
At 9:30 p.m., Gruvel room, the elders are invited to the ball by Pyrénées-Musette while the younger ones will wiggle in the company of DJ Starnight 31 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. And the highlight of the day, the fireworks, will sparkle around 11 p.m.
