Whoopi Goldberg responded to critics’ criticism of Prince William’s viral dance during one of Taylor Swift’s concerts in London on June 21.

A great ally. During the Monday, June 24 episode of the show “The View,” actress Whoopi Goldberg defended Prince William, after the viral broadcast this weekend of a video in which we see him swaying her hips during Taylor Swift’s June 21 concert in London.

“Some fans criticized his moves, but my God, it’s this guy’s birthday, relax! It’s his birthday, let him do what he does!” exclaimed the actress from the “Sister Act” franchise on the set, supported by her colleagues.

The Prince of Wales took two of his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to the first of eight Taylor Swift concerts at Wembley Stadium in London. On this occasion, the British heir, who celebrated his 42nd birthday that evening, was filmed dancing from his dressing room to the pop star’s song “Shake It Off”, sparking numerous online criticisms from Internet users.

“It was pure joy for a man whose wife suffers from cancer”

Whoopi Goldberg then joked that Prince Louis “doesn’t know how to act outside,” while commentator Ana Navarro added, “These kids have been through so much. Their mother has cancer, their grandfather has cancer, I loved it.”

A point of view shared among others by Sunny Hostin, co-host of “The View”, who declared: “It was pure joy for a man whose wife suffers from cancer. Can’t we take advantage of this for him?”

Former White House Director of Strategic Communications Alyssa Farah Griffin was also taken with Prince William’s moves, saying, “Go away, future king. I loved. I wasn’t expecting any big moves from William, so I like him to make them.”

Like Prince William, many celebrities traveled to the British capital to attend the 34-year-old artist’s show, like Tom Cruise, Hugh Grant and Paul McCartney.
