good news, the actor is finally back on Netflix

Recently seen in a romantic comedy broadcast on Netflix, entitled Taken in the game, Tom Ellis has not said his last word. You will very soon be able to find it in a new, rather unexpected program…

It will soon be three years since fans of Lucifer had to say goodbye to Lucifer Morningstar and his very own humor at the end of season 6! Three years undoubtedly marked by lack which will soon find some consolation. Tom Ellis, the British actor who plays the main character of this hit series, will be back on Netflix very soon. And this, from July 12, 2024! On the other hand, before finding him in the flesh, it will only be his voice that you will be able to hear in Exploding Kittens, a series inspired by the famous card game of the same name. The adaptation is done here in the form of an animated series. No question, therefore, of seeing Tom Ellis’ face…

Tom Ellis: a real cat’s life

In Exploding Kittens, Tom Ellis lends his voice to… God! No more no less. Chaos reigns on Earth and God finds himself accused of being responsible for it, which is why he is dismissed in order to come back down to humans to better reconnect with them. Except that reconnecting with humanity while being trapped in the body of a cat may be difficult… For his penance, God/Cat is sent to the heart of a dysfunctional family, whose problems he is supposed to solve . But his feline nature takes over and instead of working, he ends up spending most of his time playing! However, he will not have the choice to work seriously because his neighbor, who is also a cat, turns out to be his sworn enemy: the Antichrist. God/Cat will not be able to avoid a confrontation which appears inevitable and where good hopes to triumph over evil.

Tom Ellis: from detective series to romantic comedy

If Tom Ellis’ voice isn’t enough for you, you can find him on Netflix starring in the film Taking to the game. He plays the role of Nick, a war correspondent with devastating charm, target of Mack (played by Gina Rodriguez), a New York sports journalist, whose favorite pastime is to develop foolproof seduction scenarios with his group of friends.
