The announcement of the death of Julien Poulin at the age of 78 on Sunday is described as a “shock wave” by actor Fabien Cloutier.

“A colleague who became a great friend. So, we lose a great colleague, but losing a friend always hurts,” the actor testified on LCN on Sunday.

Fabien Cloutier and Lucien Poulin notably crossed paths on the set of the series Leowhich was broadcast on TVA from 2018 to 2024.

“He was appreciated by all departments [des plateaux de tournage]“, explained the actor. “We wanted to take care [de lui] because he took care of the people around him.”

He considers that the character of Elvis Gratton, played by Julien Poulin, left his mark on generations.

“We recognize a part of what we are, it makes us laugh, and after having made us laugh, we realize that he is telling us something,” underlined the actor.

“It is a great privilege to have been there, on his journey,” added Mr. Cloutier.
