Journalist Simon Gamache-Fortin told Internet users that 2024 was a particularly emotional year.

It was in a publication on Instagram that journalist Simon Gamache-Fortin presented a very busy assessment for 2024!

In the caption accompanying a series of photos, including one showing him while in the studio, the journalist explained: “Quite a year! Moving from Rimouski to Montreal, new professional challenges, a permanent position at TVA Montreal, a fiery gang at work, precious friends, lots of chocolate desserts, running, but above all feeling good about myself. wishes a year 2025 filled with challenges, health and happiness.”

It was in February 2024 that Simon Gamache-Fortin left TVA Est-du-Québec after seven years of journalism in the Rimouski region.

Simon Gamache-Fortin then joined LCN as a journalist in the TVA newsroom in Montreal and as co-host of Quebec morning on weekends.

When he left Rimouski, Simon Gamache-Fortin declared in an interview with Journal Le Soir: “It was supposed to last one summer and it’s been almost seven years. We build bonds and friendships after seven years. I leave Rimouski with a heavy heart. It’s difficult to leave the team, but also the people of the region. The viewers are truly wonderful. People come to talk to us on the ground. They follow what we do. I will keep this forever in my heart. It has been a privilege for me over the last few years to bring the concerns and aspirations of people here to the national level.”
