In just a few years, Lily-Rose Depp has made a name for herself in a film industry that is not always kind to the children of stars – especially when both parents are very well known. But the 25-year-old young woman has someone to hold on to between her mother Vanessa Paradis, who became a singing star at a very young age, then the cinema, and her father Johnny Depp, one of the most recognized actors of his generation. In the film Nosferatu released in France on December 25, 2024, Lily-Rose Depp plays Ellen Hutter. If the feature film oscillates between gothic and horror, one could believe that the lover of the American rapper 070 Shake appreciates films of this type. And yet, not everyone has his favors! In particular one of her father’s cult films, Edward Scissorhands released in 1990, which literally traumatized her: “Not because I found him scary, but because everyone was very mean to him and I was really upset,” she revealed in the English edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. In the end of Tim Burton’s feature film, the whole town turns against Edward, and this ending left its mark on Lily-Rose Depp, who has since refused to see him again. “I remember being petrified by it, which is weird, because I don’t have a lot of memories from my childhood,” she then clarified.
