Géraldine Lamarche is making her comeback on the slopes after a long break of ten years. A break which has not extinguished his flame for skiing, quite the contrary: it is a true return to his roots and to a youthful passion. This year, she is choosing to reclaim her time and reconnect with what gives her pleasure and freedom.

Originally from Lac-Beauport, Géraldine grew up on the slopes of the Le Relais center. “ I spent my evenings there, with my father, then my friends. Skiing was part of my life “, she says. It was on these slopes that she learned the joys of skiing, that she developed her taste for adventure and adrenaline, while creating unforgettable memories with those she loved.

However, the passion for skiing faded over the years. “ I lost my passion for skiing when I left to study in Jonquière to become a radio presenter », confides Géraldine. The years that followed were marked by a series of moves, the stages of a career that led her to climb the ranks of the radio world. And it was with unfailing determination that she devoted all her energy to her professional career.
But in 2025, Géraldine makes an important decision: she chooses to return to simple pleasures, to what makes her happy, to what nourishes her soul. “ I choose pleasure, freedom and happiness. I choose myself. “, she explains with a smile. Skiing, the sport that she left aside for a long time, is making a comeback in her life, and she is more than delighted to rediscover this old passion.
Skiing is never lost!
Getting back on the slopes was anything but difficult. “ Skiing cannot be lost. ‘Bum one day, bum always’, as Ève-Marie said to me during the show on December 24, referring to my crazy and intrepid little side “, she remembers, with a sparkle of joy in her eyes. “ She was right! » continues Géraldine.

« I kept my composure and did a few pirouettes, like the bum I was as a teenager. » The feelings are intact, and the confidence too. The Relais slopes, where it all began, were the ideal place to reconnect with your love of skiing. Accompanied by Félix Rondeau, she rediscovered the mountain where she grew up.

Through this return to her roots, Géraldine remembers why she was so passionate about skiing: the freedom of skiing, the adrenaline of speed and the simple pleasure of sliding down snowy slopes.
