Indeed, the comedian and actor is the happy father of a young adult, Antoine, aged 29. But his role as a father has not always been easy for the comedian, who has had to face some challenges, which he recently discussed in an interview with The Sunday Tribune.

Becoming a father is no small feat. And Elie Semoun knows something about that. While he strives to always make his fans laugh, the actor experiences a few moments of doubt on a daily basis. Particularly in the face of his son Antoine’s Asperger syndrome. A syndrome that he has not always been able to accept and understand.
In the columns of The Sunday Tribunethe actor evokes a “difference” which he had difficulty managing. “I was even in denial for a long time (…) Antoine is a great miracle of life. He was born at 5 and a half months and weighed 750 grams. He was also diagnosed with Asperger’s autism”, he indicates before specifying that he did not wish to send him to a specialized establishment. “I was wrong, because he had a different outlook on life than his comrades”he conceded.

Today, Antoine is a seasoned young adult man. He is also an artist, to the great happiness of his father. Antoine Simon, known under the pseudonym Andy Santori, doesn’t make you laugh, but he makes you dream. He is a painter and regularly exhibits his works. “I’m passionate about writing. I tried film school, but it didn’t work out. I don’t have any talent for it, so I said to myself: “I’m not going to make a film, but I’m going to share it through painting,” he confided.
Elie Semoun is proud of this talent. “Antoine has crazy talent and is my greatest pride“, he shared The Sunday Tribune. “The last time he exhibited, he sold a lot of paintings. I am very proud of what he does, it reassures me because he has finally found a means of expression”he added Purepeople. And this, even if “there is paint everywhere in my house, because he walks with his pumps in his bedroom-workshop and he spills it everywhere, so I track him”, he confided, amused, to our colleagues. The succession is assured !
