In the columns of The Mirroras reported Closershe declared: “there are specific times during the day when we check and restock the shelves with remaining items”.
“You will actually see the products being labeled [à prix réduit]so you can grab them before they are put back on the shelves. Unlike other supermarkets, at Lidl, items are not discounted the same day, but generally two days before”, she adds. What Catherine Shuttleworth, marketing consultant at Lidl, confirmed: “On the first day, the discount is 30%, and on the second day, it goes to 60%.” Finally, Roo Dhissou says that the best time of day to come and do your shopping at Lidl is between 4 and 5 p.m.
