No need to pretend to maintain a little suspense, to become the owner of one of the 250 examples of the 1,800 horsepower Bugatti Tourbillon, the future owner will have to sign a check for… 3.8 million euros. If history does not yet say whether Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo have already placed themselves on the waiting list to take the wheel (each already owning several Bugatti models), the fact remains that this Tourbillon is not aimed to the plebs, that’s the least we can say.
Less than 25 seconds to reach 400 km/h
Manufactured at the Bugatti factory in Molsheim (Bas-Rhin), the Bugatti Tourbillon will not be delivered to its first customers before 2026, the date of its approval under the WLTP 2024 cycle. To date, these are still prototypes which are finalizing the tests of this rocket on four wheels which will only be offered in 250 units worldwide. Prototypes are already in the testing phase, with first deliveries planned for 2026. An insane hypercar, capable of hitting 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds, that of 0 to… 400 km/h in less than 25 seconds! The Bugatti Tourbillon debuts a brand new 90° V16 engine in light alloy, naturally aspirated and supported by electric hybridization. Developed in collaboration with Cosworth, this 8.3 (!) block develops 1,000 hp at 9,000 rpm and 900 Nm of torque. A power to which is added the cumulative 800hp of the three electric units, designed by Rimac, two of which are located at the front and the last at the rear. 1800 hp in total therefore, or 300 more than the last Chiron…
