The first Signature Event in Hawaii, attended by 59 players, was an opportunity to start the new year with a very nice check. A habit for Hideki Matsuyama.
In addition to setting the record for the lowest score ever in a PGA Tour tournament, Hideki Matsuyama pocketed his third check for $3.6 million in less than 12 months!
After the Genesis Invitational and the FedEx St Jude Championship in 2024, the Japanese won the inaugural tournament of the 2025 season by beating Collin Morikawa who collects the places of honor in this event. Second in 2023 after a catastrophic final round, fifth last year, the Californian still has to settle for runner-up.
