One of the biggest nights in entertainment is fast approaching.
The 82nd Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday January 5 live from Los Angeles. Actress Nikki Glaser (Fboy Île, Tom Brady Roast) will welcome.
As in previous years, the show will be broadcast on the Rogers Citytv network in Canada. That means you’ll either need a cable subscription to watch on Citytv or citytv.com, or pay for the $4.99 Citytv+ channel on Prime Video.
This year, Netflix Emilie Pérez leads the film pack with 10 nominations, while FX’s The bear landed five nominations, the most for television.

It’s also worth noting that a few of the candidates are Canadian:
- Pamela Anderson of Ladysmith, British Columbia — Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama for The Last Showgirl
- Vancouver’s Gabriel LaBelle is up for best male performance in a musical or comedy film for Saturday Night
- Martin Short, Hamilton, Ontario, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Only Murders in the Building
- Denis Villeneuve, of Gentilly, Que., who directed, co-wrote and co-produced Dune: Part Two, has his film nominated for best drama film
