Two months before the Oscars, good news for French cinema! Jacques Audiard’s “Emilia Perez” dominated the Golden Globes, winning four trophies, including best comedy. He was the favorite with his 10 nominations. The second film with the most trophies is “The Brutalist”, a portrait of a Holocaust survivor architect trying to rebuild his life in the United States. He was crowned in three different categories.
