It is important to note that the film directed by Jacques Audiardwhich features Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Edgar Ramírez et Selena Gomezrecently engaged, earned the most Golden Globe nominations ever for a comedy or musical film. Just behind, we find The Brutalist, the architectural epic in two parts of three hours and 35 minutes from Brady Corbet with Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce et Joe Alwyn. Moreover, The Bear, dramatic comedy with Jeremy Allen White et Ayo Edebiri, leads the television categories with five nominations. Only Murders in the Building et Shōgun follow closely behind with four nominations each.
In the category best performance by an actress in a dramatic film, Angelina Jolie (Maria), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door), Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here) et Kate Winslet (Lee) are all in the running to win the prize. Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Timothée Chalamet (A Perfect Stranger), Daniel Craig (Queer), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) et Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice) also compete in the actors category.
