Marine Le Pen was one of the passengers in a barge collision which left 10 people injured in Mayotte on Tuesday January 7.

Traveling to Mayotte after the devastating cyclone Chido, Marine Le Pen had a big scare. According to our colleagues from Mayotte the 1st, the leader of the National Rally was the victim of a barge accident, these boats which form the only means of linking Basse-Terre to Petite Terre. “The speed was incredible,” reported Marine Le Pen, who was preparing to join her plane for at the time of this accident which left 10 injured.

Marine Le Pen was on board the Chatouilleuse when the Georges Nahouda “rushed” on them. “It was almost at full power… It was incomprehensible the speed given the distance we were at.
