This Sunday at 5:30 p.m. (broadcast on DAZN) Paris Saint-Germain faces Monaco au Stadium 974 as part of the 2024 Champions Trophy. At a press conference, Adi Hütter, Monegasque coach, spoke about this meeting and the Parisian opponent.

“How did you prepare for this match?
Tomorrow (Sunday, against PSG), it’s a final. Against the leader of Ligue 1, so we can’t wait to play it. The preparation was normal. Today there will be a session open to the media, so we won’t be able to work too much tactically, but we already did that in Monaco. We know what we have to do.

Do you consider your midfielder capable of responding to that of PSG?
Everyone knows that the PSG midfielder is one of the best in Europe. We’re talking about Fabian Ruiz, who won the Euro with Spain, Neves, Zaire-Emery… We have another style of play, another approach. The midfield can be a determining sector of play tomorrow, but we also have a very strong midfield. We may have less of the ball than usual, but without the ball, we know that we can still have opportunities. »
Monaco remains PSG’s main competitor. Even if the Monegasque club remains below the Parisians in the hierarchy, it is a team which has already had the keys to do very badly. PSG is clearly not to be taken lightly, but Monaco can compete in a match and win.
The downside is the lack of an attacker in Monaco who will have difficulty scoring a lot of goals without conceding as many or more. It must be said that against PSG (if Luis Enrique’s men manage to be effective), very often you have to score at least twice to hope for a result. THIS will be an intense match, for the first trophy of the season.
