For the last five candidates, the challenge was clear: to secure a place among the semi-finalists. An evening punctuated by impressive performances, starting with Marine, who literally set the house on fire I Am What I Am by Gloria Gaynor or even Ebony, already qualified before the prime, who shocked the public with a masterful cover of The Hymn to LoveCeline Dion’s Olympic Games version. But not everyone was up to the task, and it was ultimately Ulysses who saw his adventure end at the end of the evening.
For this crucial moment, the students were not alone in their challenges. Prestigious guests were present : Mc Solaar, Styleto, Gaëtan Roussel, Héléna Bailly with her title Bad Boyand the godmother of the season, Clara Luciani. A godmother who did not fail to make an impression, notably by commenting on one of Ulysses’ performances.

Ulysses, who had chosen to interpret Cinderella of Telephone, divided the fans and Clara Luciani was true to herself : direct and witty. Remembering advice she had given him earlier in the competition, she first highlighted his development: “You took my advice and did something with it and I see you did it again tonight.” Then, with a mischievous smile, she added: “I want to tell you: ‘Your bitterness is matched only by your talent’.” A comment that hit the mark, provoking laughter from Ulysses and those of the audience.
