New sponsor, new bikes, 14 recruits, full squad,… Here is the presentation of the XDS Astana Team 2025 team.
With the arrival of XDS as title partner, Astana training has more substantial resources this year. This was verified on the transfer market with the arrival of 14 recruits, or almost half of the squad that was renewed. Having suffered in recent years in the UCI rankings, Astana will fight for its survival in the World Tour during the 2025 season. Will it be enough to remain among the elite of world Cycling? XDS Astana Team recruits
14 arrivals this year within the Kazakh team. No great leader capable of playing the general role on a Grand Tour, but experienced riders like Wout Poels, Diego Ulissi, Mike Teunissen and Fausto Masnada. The team is also strengthening in the mountains with the arrivals of Sergio Higuita, Nicola Conci, Clément Champoussin and the young Darren van Bekkum, winner of the Ronde de l'Isard in 2024.

The XDS Astana Team jersey
Alexandre Vinokourov's men will wear a sky blue jersey, which has characterized the team in the pelotons for several years. There is red on the left sleeve and yellow on the right sleeve.
XDS Astana Team bikes
Astana has ended its partnership with Wilier. XDS, Chinese bicycle manufacturer and new title sponsor, will supply the team's new bikes. Runners will use the brand's racing range, X-Lab, with the aero model, the AD9. In the mountains, they will have the RT9 and the Dawnbreaker TT available on the CLMs.
