Author of 30 points last night in the Lakers’ victory against the Hawks, LeBron James inscribes his name a little more in the NBA history books. The King achieves a new record, surpassing Michael Jordan in the number of games with 30 points (or more) in his career (563).
Some will say that it’s just another stat, but LeBron James hasn’t finished dusting off the history books. Before this match against Atlanta, LBJ shared the record with MJ but the number 23 of the Lakers has surpassed that of the Bulls in the statistics and he should further increase the score for some time given his current form.

LeBron was lethal to overtake Jordan, with 30 points scored at 65% shooting. A boss match for a quiet victory for the Lakers, never too worried by the Hawks who came with no intention of defending.
If Bronbron’s supporters can flex, Jordan’s supporters will undoubtedly take out the calculator to reduce this record. Michael Jordan has in fact played 1072 regular season games in his career for his 562 games at 30 points (or more), which is more than half of his games.
LeBron James, for his part, has played 1,523 career games, which gives a ratio closer to a third of games with 30 points or more. Problem of the rich given the careers of the two monsters but a stat which will risk fueling the debates.
