As his term ends this year, the president of the Merengue club has called his board of directors to a meeting to begin preparing for the next elections.
“The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, convenes the club's board of directors on January 7, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., in order to begin the process of electing the president and the board of directors for the next four years”we can read in the press release.
After being re-elected president on April 21, 2021 for another four years, Florentino Pérez plans to run again this year. As we revealed to you last April, the latter planned to participate in future elections.
With the new Santiago Bernabéu almost complete, there remains one last big file on the table to manage for the 77-year-old businessman: the Superleague. There is no doubt, if he is re-elected, this mandate will be marked by the desire to create this new competition.
