Today’s Connections Answer: Tips to Help You Fix This Problem

Unlike our guide to the Wordle answer today, where we recommend the best Wordle seed words as a strategy, solving connections relies on identifying connection categories among 16 words. The difficulty level of each category is represented by a color; yellow is the easiest group and purple is the most difficult. Once you make 4 mistakes in your guesses, the answers will be revealed, so hints can be helpful.

Today’s Connections words are: Time, clock, donut, paddle, fatigue, month, beat, record, capture, label, thumb, days, counter, swear, notice and pace.

If you need clues to solve the groupings, here are the themes for each, based on order of difficulty:

  • ???? Jaune: Perceive
  • ???? Vert: Cadence
  • ???? Bleu: One in a group of twelve
  • ???? Violet: Chien ____

These tips should help you at least partially find today’s Connections answers. If not, you can read on for more in-depth clues; or, if you just want to know the answer, scroll down.

Here’s a broader clue: Time the pace of a dozen while walking the dog.

Answers to Today’s Connections

So what are today’s Connections answers for game #571?

Drum roll, please…

  • ???? Perceive: Catch, time, notice, register
  • ???? Cadence: Beat, meter, rhythm, time
  • ???? One in a group of twelve: Donut, thumb, swear, month
  • ???? Chien ____: Days, paddle, tag, tired

I managed to cross the line today, which is always nice, although part of the challenge is getting the purple first.

I started with the yellow group pointing to notice, record, capture and… clock.

The rhythm and rhythm then stood out to me. From there we came to the meter and cadence time.

We then caught dozens with donut, thumb, swear and month.

From there we moved on to dog hobbies; dog days, dog paddle, dog tag and tired dog.

Answers to yesterday’s connections

  • ???? Slimy animals: Earthworm, Eel, Salamander, Slug
  • ???? Things that glow: Aurora, Firefly, Glowstick, Radium
  • ???? Dutch symbols: Canal, Clog, Tulip, Windmill
  • ???? Ending with synonyms for “Plunge”: Gatefish, Raindrop, Parachute Jump

Are you reading this in a later time zone? Here are the Connections answers for game #570, which had a difficulty rating of 3 out of 5, according to the Connections Companion.

I failed today’s puzzle; I’m not afraid to admit it. After quickly getting the yellow and green categories, I hit a wall of blue and purple.

I mixed and mixed, and nothing seemed to connect for me. Well, there’s always tomorrow’s riddle to bring me back to the game! I used Connections Companion to get a word from each and still couldn’t piece it together.

I resorted to guesswork and failed miserably, leading me to use up all my mistakes.
