Xbox announces major new features for its Game Pass Quests system and its Microsoft Rewards program, with features now accessible to PC Game Pass subscribers and an extension of the offer in Japan. These developments allow Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members to earn Rewards Points by playing their favorite games, whether on console, PC or mobile.
Game Pass Quests, redesigned for simplicity and fun, now include daily, weekly and monthly challenges. For example, playing a game from the catalog for 15 minutes earns you 10 points each day, while weekly bonuses reward streaks of five consecutive days. Monthly Packs encourage exploration of the catalog, with rewards for those who discover four or eight different games each month.
For members aged 18 or older, a new Weekly Bonus on PC, available from January 7, 2025, will award 150 points after five days of play. The program’s rules have also been adjusted to ensure it remains accessible and adapted to the age of the users. Now only adults will be able to accumulate points through gameplay, although other means are still available for younger players.
These changes are part of a desire to strengthen player engagement while diversifying reward opportunities on Xbox platforms. For more information on Game Pass Quests and Microsoft Rewards, visit Rewards.Microsoft.com.
