LaLiga underlines in a press release that FC Barcelona has not proposed solutions to comply with the salary limit.

LaLiga has published an information note clarifying FC Barcelona’s situation regarding compliance with the salary limit and the implications for player registrations. Although not named, the statement refers to Barça’s efforts to register Dani Olmo and Víctor.

According to the statement, to date Barca have not offered any alternatives that comply with the economic control regulations required by LaLiga, suggesting that they have not been able to register new players.

The text of the press release is as follows:

This communication responds to the one published by Barça regarding its efforts to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, two players whose administrative situation the club hoped to resolve before January 1. The club said it had attempted to resolve this by requesting new registration for the players with the RFEF.

Despite Barca’s efforts, including financial deals such as leasing VIP seats to a Qatari fund for 100 million euros, LaLiga has not validated any proposals to date.

FC Barcelona now faces the challenge of finding a solution in the coming days in order to avoid further complications in its sporting projects, following the request for new registration with the RFEF. Although January 3 has been indicated as a crucial date to resolve the situations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, LaLiga’s declaration adds additional pressure to an already complex situation for Barça.
