The media libraries of the Mont-Saint-Michel Normandy urban community are organizing the readers’ prize Deliver yourself from May 13 to November 13. During this period, members are invited to read at least three books from a selection of ten novels available for loan in all community media libraries.

Two editions took place at the Isigny-le-Buat media library. This year, for the first time, the readers’ prize was extended to all of the network’s libraries.

We have a keen eye for novels published in audiobook and large character form. We favor the discoveries of first-time novelists and subjects little covered in literature.

says Sophie Thorelle, head of the Isigny-le-Buat media library.

Mokhtar Amoudi’s novel, which was selected last year by the readers of Isigny-le-Buat, is included in this new edition. He came to meet readers in December.

The ten novels are as follows:

  • The ideal conditions by Mokhtar Amoui
  • Eden de Adur Ava Olafsdottir
  • Pierric Bailly’s Lightning
  • The silences of the fathers the Rachid Gasoline
  • What I know about what by Eric Chacour
  • Stay by Adeline Dieudonné
  • The women of bidibidi by Charline Effah
  • Admirable: the story of the last wrinkled woman on earth by Sophie Fontanel
  • The Cape Town Doctor d’Ellen J.Levy
  • Unforgettable sequel d’Akira Mizubayashi

To participate, you must be registered in one of the 19 media libraries in the urban community and be of legal age. Individuals can only vote once. A reading booklet will be made available to readers.

The results

The results will be announced to Ducey on November 23 in the presence of an author. Prizes will be awarded by drawing to participants.
