At least one person was injured Sunday morning after an accident on the ramp from Highway 15 South to Route 136 East in Montreal.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 6 a.m. Sunday.

“The second vehicle possibly involved left the scene,” said Adam Marineau, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.

“We fear for the life of one of the people,” added the Security agent.

An investigation by the Major Crimes Division of the SQ has been initiated and witnesses, particularly those in the vehicle, will be questioned.

The ramp leading to Route 136 East will remain closed indefinitely while police re-enactors finish their work.
