Rue du Menhir, in Treize-Septiers (Vendée), was the scene of a road accident on Saturday June 15, 2024, around a quarter past midnight. A car ended up in the ditch, causing three injuries, all of whom were transported to the Cholet hospital center.
The rear passenger, a 21-year-old man, was the most seriously injured. It was declared an absolute emergency. Firefighters, dispatched from the La Bruffière, Montaigu and Tiffauges barracks, had to extract him from the vehicle.
The driver and front passenger, men aged 21 and 22, were able to get out on their own.
