A video circulated Sunday showing Ayala Metzger, whose elderly father-in-law Yoram Metzger was kidnapped on October 7 and murdered in captivity by the Palestinian terror group Hamas in Gaza, telling a crowd that “if [les otages] don’t come back, we will wait [le Premier ministre Benjamin Netanyahu et sa femme Sara] with a rope”.

“The Netanyahu couple, if you are at home, I will not rest, Einav [Zangauker, mère de l’otage du Hamas Matan Zangauker] will not rest, and Matan must go home, and [tous les otages] need to go home,” Metzger shouted into a microphone to cheers and honking.

The video was broadcast by Channel 14, the spearhead of pro-Netanyahu propaganda.

The video was reportedly filmed during a protest outside the prime minister’s private home in Caesarea on Thursday, demanding new parliamentary elections and a deal to release hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Some 3,000 protesters took part in the rally, according to organizers, and police reportedly found a smoke grenade attached to a wire in the area planned for the demonstration outside Netanyahu’s home.

There would remain 116 hostages who had been captured by Hamas on October 7 in Gaza – all of them would no longer be alive – after the release of 105 civilians from the terrorist group’s jails during a week-long truce at the end of November. Four captives had previously been released. Seven hostages were rescued alive by troops, and the bodies of 19 hostages were also found, three of whom were mistakenly killed by the Israeli army.

The IDF confirmed the deaths of 42 Hamas hostages, citing new information and intelligence obtained by soldiers on the ground in Gaza.

One person is still missing since October 7. His fate remains undetermined.

Hamas has also held the bodies of two fallen soldiers, Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin, since 2014, as well as two Israeli civilians, Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, who are believed to still be alive after entering the Gaza Strip. on their own in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
