First broadcast on France 2 in 2015, the series, called Ten percent quickly established itself among viewers of the public channel. This fiction features several characters of agents who are the main partners of the artistic agency ASK (the Samuel-Kerr agency). The latter juggle with delicate situations and defend their vision of the acting profession. They skillfully mix art and business, even if it means manipulating people in the profession to make them accept their vision.

Everyone is struggling to save ASK which is suffering certain inconveniences following the death of their main agent, also founder of the agency, Samuel Kerr. The four main characters see their private lives mixed with the life of the agency. They will also have to face the competing company StarMédia.

It was Dominique Besnehard, former artistic agent at the Artmedia agency, who had the idea for this series in 2007. To write the script for Ten percenthe was greatly inspired by several stories he experienced during his long career in this profession, but also by the colorful characters he had the opportunity to meet over the years. For example, Dominique Besnehard was greatly inspired by his former colleague at Artmedia, Josette Arrigoni, to write the character of Arlette, played on screen by actress Liliane Rovère. Unfortunately, Josette Arrigoni died at the age of 93 on Sunday, June 30, 2024. It was Dominique Besnehard himself who announced the sad news on social networks.Josette Arrigoni who knew the Artmedia agency from the beginning has left us”wrote the former artistic agent on Facebook.

Josette Arrigoni was “a damn good woman, very honest, hard-working” according to Dominique Besnehard.

“With her, it is the whole story of the talents of this institution, with its secrets, its anecdotes, its joys, its dramas that leave us to join the path of peace and eternal happiness. She was a damn good woman, very honest, hardworking like no other. Attentive to the actors who loved her enormously. I am happy to have worked in her company and also very touched that she agreed to be the first witness to our book written in collaboration with Nedjma Van Egmond: A History of French Cinema. also added Dominique Besnehard.
