Carhaix (Finistère) is preparing to host the 2024 edition of Vieilles Charrues. Residents are invited to go to the town hall to collect the river pass, necessary for access to certain areas of the city during the festival, from Thursday July 11 to Sunday July 14. These passes can be collected during town hall opening hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Withdrawals possible until Friday July 12.

A pass required in five zones

Throughout the Vieilles Charrues, traffic will be reserved for vehicle pass holders in five areas of Carhaix. Zone 1, which begins in the city center, between the streets of Beg Avel, du Maroc, de Kerven, Pierre Sémard, de Callac, avenue du Général-de-Gaulle, boulevard Jean-Moulin, rue Eugène- Léon and the D 787. Zone 2, in Persivien. Zone 3, in Kerlédan. Zone 4, south of the RN164. Zone 5, in Villeneuve Kergorvo.

Five vehicle passes

A pedestrian pass will also be required to access zones 2, 3 and 4. Proof of identity and proof of address must be presented to obtain this pass. To collect vehicle passes, presentation of the registration document is also necessary. A maximum of five pedestrian passes and five vehicle passes are distributed per household.
