It’s a poignant anniversary that actor and director Nicolas Bedos is commemorating this Saturday, June 15. His father, the comedy legend Guy Bedos, would have celebrated his 90th birthday. For the occasion, Nicolas Bedos shared a moving photograph on his Instagram account. We see his partner Pauline Desmonts and their daughter Joséphine, born in December 2023, in front of the grave of Guy Bedos, in Lumio, in Corsica. In the caption, no words, but a simple emoji with a candle and a black heart. This publication immediately sparked numerous reactions from his followers, who, very touched, showed their affection and support.
The relationship between father and son has not always been easy. Overwhelmed by the success and notoriety of Guy Bedos, Nicolas had difficulty finding his place and being recognized for his own work. Tried for sexual harassment in September 2024
For several months, Nicolas Bedos has been going through a legal storm. Accused by several women of assault and sexual harassment, he was placed in police custody in June 2023 and will be tried in September 2024 in two cases: one for sexual assault “by a person in a state of obvious intoxication” and the other for “sexual harassment” for facts dating back to 2018.
His partner, Pauline Desmonts, a businesswoman in second-hand luxury, remains at his side and even spoke up to defend him. A couple since 2021, they welcomed a little girl, who recently celebrated her six months. For a long time, Nicolas Bedos thought he would not be capable of becoming a father. “You have to have made a little peace with yourself to have kids“, he blurted out to Madame Figaro three years ago. “But maybe I’m wrong, because lots of stories deny it.
