79-year-old artist Ferdi Tayfur, who fell ill at his home in Muğla’s Marmaris district and was hospitalized, died in the evening at the hospital where he was treated in Antalya, where he was transferred. In his statement from his hospital bed in front of the camera on December 19, Ferdi Tayfur thanked his doctor and said, “I am very well.”
79-year-old arabesque music artist and composer Ferdi Tayfur, who lives in the Marmaris district of Muğla, was taken to the hospital by ambulance on December 15 due to blood pressure. Tayfur, who was treated in the intensive care unit, was first sent to the airport by ambulance helicopter and then to Antalya by ambulance plane, upon the request of his family and the advice of specialist doctors, on December 17.
The master artist died in the evening in the hospital where he was treated for organ failure in the morning.

Ferdi Tayfur, when he appeared in front of the cameras for the last time in his sick bed on December 19, asked his doctor “How are you?”, he said: “I’m fine, thanks to you. Thanks to God. I’ve gone through so much trouble. I mean, not everyone can have it. May God bless you. Thank you.” “I am very good,” he said.
