This is more than a simple choice for the player to make, as they must first complete various tasks around the open world of Elden Ringwhich will then allow them to get a certain ending. These endings vary in difficulty, and therefore, every ending available in Elden Ring isranked by how difficult it is to achieve.

Age Of Fracture

The Standard Ending That Requires Only Completing The Game

  • Must not join the Frenzied Flame to get this ending.

  • Players gain this ending through completing the main story of Elden Ring and choosing to mend the Elden Ring after touching Fractured Marika.

Out of all the available endings in Elden Ringone of the easiest for players to achieve is the standard ending of the game, known as the Age of Fracture. This ending requires no extra steps or exploration from the player, as they are simply tasked with completing the main objective of Elden Ringby eventually defeating the Elden Beast and deciding to mend the Elden Ring.

While this may not be the most adventurous ending for Elden Ringas a souls-like title created by the developers that made the likes of Dark Soulsthis still isn’t an easy goal to achieve and, therefore, even being able to get the standard ending for Elden Ring may still be seen as quite difficult to get for some players.

Age Of Order

An Ending Earned Through Simply Solving A Riddle

Age of Order is the second-easiest ending for players to achieve, as it requires the player to do little other than complete the Goldmask and Brother Corhyn’s questlines. Unlike many of the other endings in Elden Ring which require players to defeat various optional bosses to earn new endings, these two NPCs only require the player to find them in various locations on the map and then solve a riddle.

From the Monk’s Flameblade to the Guardian’s Swordspear, these are the best of the best rare weapons in the game.

The only difficulty to be found in this ending is that the player is required to have a high intelligence score of 37 and enough Runes to purchase the Law of Regression Incantation from Brother Corhyn. With this spell in hand, the player can solve the riddle and bring the answer back to the Goldmask. Players can then finally grab the Mending Rune of Perfect Order from the Goldmask’s body.

Blessing Of Despair

Players Must Find A Lot Of Seedbed Curses

  • Players have to find five Seedbed Curses to get the Blessing.

  • Once at Fractured Marika, the player should use the Blessing of Despair on her.

Getting the Blessing of Despair is only difficult due to how tedious it is to find all the Seedbed Curses needed to gain the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse. Firstly, the players are forced into the Sewers, which is deemed as being one of the hardest areas in Elden Ring to explore. Once they have found the Dung Eater in the sewers, they must then go fight him.

This isn’t the end of the player walking around the map of Elden Ringas the player must then explore various optional areas of the map – some of which are difficult to navigate – to find the Seedbed Curses found within various bodies violated by the Dung Eater. Returning these curses to him at the Roundtable Hold will eventually reward the player with the Blessing of Despair, which allows the player to get one of the darker endings for Elden Ring.

Age Of The Duskborn

Players Must Fight A Horrific Dragon To Get This Ending

Out of all the available endings to earn at the end of Elden Ringthe Age of the Duskborn is by far one of the most difficult to get. Players must receive the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince if they hope to see an ending where the undead are no longer under persecution from those that are living in the Lands Between.

Fia the Deathbed Companion is the player’s ticket to this ending, as they must help her complete the entirety of her questline to finally be rewarded with the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince. While many elements of this quest are quite straightforward, players must enter the Deathbed Dream to defeat one of the hardest bosses in Elden RingLichdragon Fortissax. Once defeated, players will have what they need for the ending.

Lord Of The Frenzied Flame

Requires Patience, Parkour, And A Trip To The Sewers

The Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending is only seen as one of the most difficult endings for the player to earn due to how tedious it is to get to in the first place. Players must once again go into the Sewers in Elden Ring to find the location of the Three Fingers. This requires the player to go deep into the sewers, break walls that are illusions, and complete some pretty intense parkour sections before they finally arrive at the Frenzied Flame.

Elden Ring: The Best Sacred Seals, Ranked

Of all Sacred Seals, there are only a few that can be considered the best seals Elden Ring offers – most of them are pretty easy to find, too.

Accepting the gift given by the Frenzied Flame will lock the player out of any other ending, no matter if they have taken the steps for the others. This can be reversed, but since this is the ending the player wants, they must simply finish the game as they would normally.

Age Of The Stars

Incredibly Time-Consuming With A Lot Of Exploration

By far, the most difficult ending for a player to get in Elden Ring is the Age of the Stars ending, which is earned through completing Ranni’s questline. The difficulty of this ending is once again earned through the tedious need to do a lot of exploration, as well as requiring the player to defeat a challenging optional boss known as Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.

Besides defeating this boss, as well as some other enemies, as mentioned, the player is also expected to explore some pretty hard areas of the game to locate various items and talk to Ranni. Though this is all worth it, in the end, when the player finally becomes Ranni the Witch’s consort, they will rule the Lands Between together.
