Sporting Charleroi will lose one of its attackers to start the transfer window – The latest transfers

Charleroi supporters have been calling for the arrival of a striker for a long time. They will have to settle for… leaving this winter.

Sporting Charleroi’s problem has long been at the forefront: despite the presence of numerous attackers at Mambourg, the Zèbres did not have a scorer. This season, neither Kyei, nor Dabbagh, nor Stulic, nor Sylla were shaking the nets enough.

But the year 2024 ended well for Charleroi, notably with a rediscovered Nikola Stulic who scored three goals in December. The winter transfer window will be able to be approached with confidence, because the Zebras are almost looking upwards and the Playoffs rather than down and the Playdowns from now on.

Sporting management, however, wants a new striker, aware that Stulic’s form will not be enough. However, to attract a player, you will first have to let one go. We know that Carole supporters would like this departure to be Grejohn Kyei or Odday Dabbagh, one insufficient on a sporting level, the other more in the odor of holiness among the ultras.

But it will actually be Youssuf Sylla (21 years old) who should be loaned, according to The Last Hour. The promising international striker should be rented to Willem II until the end of the season. Sylla reaches the end of his contract next June but the club has an extension option.

It must be said that Sylla’s season is going rather badly since in December, he even had to go down to the U23 team, in D1 ACFF. In D1A, he did not score a single goal despite playing 13 matches.
