Google ‘Doodle’ celebrates New Year’s Eve in 2024

All about Google

O “doodle” this Tuesday (31) celebrates the New Year’s Eve in 2024. The illustration of the Google sign, which will be displayed on the search engine’s pages throughout the day, features a clock with a hand almost at the top, surrounded by bright dots, in an aesthetic reminiscent of surrealism.

The company didn’t say much about the new “doodle”. On the page about him, on the website dedicated to illustrations, big tech published the following:

Show off your sparkles and finalize your resolutions — today’s Doodle celebrates New Year’s Eve! Here’s to a new year sparkling with opportunity — just like today’s Doodle! Let the countdown begin.

Other Google ‘doodles’ throughout 2024

O Olhar Digital accompanies Google “doodles”. And he published notes about them throughout 2024. Remember some below:

According to the doodle page, the tribute to Raul Seixas aimed to celebrate the singer’s birthday. But there is a problem: Seixas was born on June 28, 1945, in Salvador (BA), not on November 23. If he were alive, “Maluco Beleza” would be 79 years old (find out more in this note from Olhar Digital).

Halloween (October 30)

Halloween, or Halloween, as it is called in Brazil, goes back to centuries-old American tradition. Google, of course, couldn’t stay out of the celebrations and launched a special Halloween doodle. It was a continuation of other doodles that celebrated the date in past years (learn more in this note from Olhar Digital).

Popcorn (September 26)
