It's already been two weeks since the start of voting for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game and, like every year, the League makes a first look at the fans' choices halfway through. We take stock.
Fans (but also players and journalists) must, like every year, elect the starters for the next All-Star Game. For this, voting is open until January 20 but the NBA likes to publish the scores as the date gets closer, just to inflame the debates at the table a little. So where are we after 15 days at the polls?
Nikola Jokić and Giannis Antetokounmpo lead their respective conferences in the first fan returns of #NBAAllStar Voting presented by AT&T.
Fans account for 50% of the vote to decide All-Star starters. NBA players and a media panel account for 25% each.

What can we take away from this first fortnight of votes?
- Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo are the leaders in the number of votes.
- LaMelo Ball explodes the votes among guards in the East, the disgusting record of the Hornets does not weigh him down.
- Trae Young doesn't really get any help from the fans.
- No guard has more votes than Shai in the West, thank you!
- The Cavs are not well represented despite their crazy season. (Mitchell and a Mobley far away)
- Jordan Poole is part of the picture, the shortest jokes are always the best.
- Unless there is a surprise, the frontcourt in the East is already folded with Giannis, Tatum and Towns as starters.
- Despite his popularity, Stephen Curry would not start at the All-Star Game in San Francisco (logic).
- Victor Wembanyama is 5th in the votes in the Western frontcourt, but we will have to work to catch up to the top 3.
- What is Andrew Wiggins doing in this painting?
The holders of the two conferences if the votes stopped today:
Western Conference : Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Luka Doncic – LeBron James – Kevin Durant – Nikola Jokic
Eastern Conference : LaMelo Ball – Donovan Mitchell – Jayson Tatum – Giannis Antetokounmpo – Karl-Anthony Towns
