JVMag – ASUS ROG unveils two screens, one at 500Hz!

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ASUS ROG) announces ahead of CES two new 27-inch OLED gaming monitors, the Swift OLED PG27UCDM and the Strix OLED XG27AQDPG.

The Swift OLED PG27UCDM stands out as the world’s first 27-inch OLED gaming monitor to offer 4K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. This combination guarantees sharp images and remarkable fluidity. This monitor uses fourth generation QD-OLED technology. It offers a pixel density of 166 ppi for precise details and clear text. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 formats, selectable via the OSD menu, for optimal image quality. In terms of connectivity, the PG27UCDM has DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, HDMI 2.1, USB-C with 90W power delivery, and a USB hub. Enough to provide flexibility for various devices. ROG DisplayWidget Center software provides quick access to monitor settings and OLED Care Pro features.

The Strix OLED XG27AQDPG, meanwhile, boasts an impressive 500Hz refresh rate at 1440p. Which makes it the fastest OLED monitor in the world! It uses a 27-inch QD-OLED panel, 0.03ms response time, 10-bit colors, and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. A mixture which results in a fluid and extremely beautiful image.

Both models feature ROG OLED Care Pro technology with a Neo-Proximity proximity sensor. This sensor detects the presence of the user and automatically turns off the screen in their absence. Which considerably reduces the risk of marking. In addition, OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology limits flicker, even during long sessions, thus preserving gamers’ visual comfort.

Dates and prices for these two ASUS ROG displays will be announced in the coming days.
