Summer concerts in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin : More than 20 concerts to liven up your summer

Have you ever noticed what happens when artists take the stage and the audience, as one, turns towards the stage and surrenders to the melodiesbegins to beat time; when the first uninhibited ones who start dancing end up carrying their neighbors in a waltz of movement that only belongs to festival moments; then, when at the end of the first song, everyone applauds to ask for more and more? This is what we call a unifying momentone of those breaths of fresh air which, at the moment, is particularly welcome!

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, like many other municipalities, understood that people needed to escape and rediscover a little magic. That is why, From July 8 to September 8, more than 20 concerts – a large part of which is baptized Roquebrune C@p Music is free – will punctuate the summer. The varied programming, with leading artists from the musical news, offers evenings for all generationsto share with family and friends in the superb setting of the coastal town.

Among the significant dates, Singer Mentissa will perform on Thursday, July 18 at Cap-Martin Park. The Belgian revelation of the show The Voice 2021 will be preceded by a local artist since the Cannes resident Otta will provide the first part of this concert event. In the middle of a summer tour with his first album The twenteeth (2022), Mentissa traces her path on French stages and creates with her audience a real close relationshipshe, who we first discovered via the small screen.

Free programming sidefrom July 8 to August 26, the City and the Tourist Office are offering a series of concerts at the Jean Gioan space. Flea Market, the Good Rockin Men, Monokini and the Yéyé years, the Tequila Salsa evening, a concert dedicated to Eddy Mitchell, the soul of the Mediterranean who will vibrate with Ehbam and the dancers of Tziga Bahan, a return to the 80 yearsa tribute to Jean-Jacques Goldman then another to Rita Mitsouko, a trip to Italy with The Blenda and, finally, the Gypsy jazz from Basilic Swing: the season is truly what you might call “eclectic”!

The musical summer in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin will be marked by another highlight from July 12 with the first of three concerts of Jazz under the starsThese evenings will be held in the heavenly garden of Villa E-1027, a jewel of modern 20th century architecture.th century, suspended on the Mediterranean seaside. On July 12, therefore, a jazz ensemble will take us on a journey Flamenco Night. On August 13, we will indulge in the improvisations of the trio of Benjamin Prischi, Sofiane El Mabrouk and Felix Javeniaux. Conclusion on August 27 with the Blues du Bayou de Charlie Rock & Rolling.

The season will end gently with a unique experienceSeptember 7 and 8. The Green Notethe eco-responsible festival of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, will offer a outdoor musical immersion open to all. Saturday, September 7, from 11am, the Paul Pioli Duo Jazz Mainstream will be waiting for the public at the Coupière du Mont Gros. The incredible Freak Band Jazz Funky will set up on the Plage du Buse from 5pm. Sunday, September 8, from 7am (yes, yes, in the morning!) the Luigi Martinale Trio will welcome the public (and the sun) on the tip of Cap Martin with covers of great jazz standards.
