Mmmh celebrates its 30th anniversary
This year, the Provence gastronomy festival, Mmmh, celebrates its 30th anniversary. And for the occasion, The event takes place over two days on July 6 and 7 in the heart of the village of Châteauneuf le Rougeland of gastronomy. To allow festival-goers to enjoy themselves twice as much, the program is different on Saturday and Sunday and promises to introduce new talents on the Provençal culinary scene.
A program with all the trimmings
In the program : the discovery of more than 16 restaurants (including 3 from Marseille: Signature, Saison and Ekume), 6 pastries (including 2 Marseille Oh Faon, and Pâtisserie Torres), and 18 wine estates…as well as book signings with Déborah from La Librarie gourmande, meetings, a young talent competitionof the cooking shows, a petanque chiefs,well other surprises… And because 30 years is worth celebrating, a charity dinner is organized on Saturday evening by starred chefs for the benefit of the association Le Point Rose.
The village vegetable garden is put to use!
Since 2018, the village has been part of a committed approach in favor of healthy eating with the creation of the village’s organic vegetable garden. An initiative of Mayor Michel Boulan praised each year by guest chefs. The refined dishes are prepared by starred chefs from the region who will have the possibility of cooking with vegetables from the village garden according to current production.
In short, Mmmh, that’s more than 9,500 festival-goers who come to feast their taste buds and meet prestigious guests from the gastronomic scene. ! Meet at the village square in Châteauneuf le Rouge: free entry (tastings charge, restaurants between €6 and €10 and pastries between €4 and €6).
