These 2 new features complete the collection RM 65-01one of most complex by Richard Mille, composed of 600 components. What sets these designs apart is their refreshing aesthetic, perfectly suited to summer.
The RM 65-01 in Quartz TPT® pastel blue integrates with the current collections of the Richard Mille catalog, while the version in Orange-yellow TPT® quartz is offered in a limited edition of 120 copies.
Robustness at the rendezvous with Richard Mille
During the hot months, timepieces must withstand harsh conditions, requiring great robustness. Aware of this necessity, Richard Mille relied on its long-time partner, North Thin Ply Technology to propose one of the remarkable innovations of this collaboration; THE Quartz TPT®.
This composite is made from multiple layers of silica fibers impregnated with resins, heated to 120 degrees Celsius under a pressure of 6 bars. The result is a material that is both lightweight and extremely durable, also offering an attractive aesthetic.
At the heart of these new timepieces is the RMAC4 caliber, already present in previous variations of the RM 65-01. This self-winding mechanical caliber displays impressive characteristics: it beats at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour, well above the market average set at 28,800 vibrations. Also equipped with a chronograph with a column wheel system allowing smooth manipulation of START/STOP/RESET functions.
If you want to have one of these two jewels on your wrist this summer, you will have to spend a small amount. For the RM 65-01 in Quartz TPT® pastel blue its price amounts to 403,000 euros including tax, the price of the Quartz TPT® orange yellow is not communicated, but we would suspect that it is the same as the blue version.
