A brand new gameplay video fromAssassin’s Creed Shadows was revealed on Sunday during the Ubisoft Forward broadcast.
In the approximately 13-minute clip, we see Yasuke arriving in Fukuchiyama to track down a corrupt daimyo. His trail leads him to confront a samurai who abuses his power.
This is howAssassin’s Creed Shadows introduces its new combat system, with destructible armor, devastating but risky posture attacks, and multi-weapon combat.

When the time comes to assassinate the daimyo in his castle, players will be able to choose between Naoe and Yasuke.
In the video, Naoe can be seen infiltrating. The stealthiest assassin yet, Naoe has a multitude of tools that allow her to strike silently and move without being seen. She may lie down and crawl through tall grass, peek around corners, or turn off lights to hide in the shadows. She can swing and climb using her grappling hook, stun NPCs, assassinate targets from a distance using her kusarigama, and much more.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows releases on November 15, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Mac (Apple silicon) and PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. The game is also planned for iPad later. Those who pre-order the Gold, Ultimate, Collector’s Editions or have a Ubisoft+ Premium account will be able to play the game on November 12.
