Isabelle Ithurburu had a “little pang in the heart” Friday evening, during the Top 14 final between Stade Toulouse and Bordeaux-Bègles (59-3).
A well-known figure among rugby fans, Isabelle Ithurburu left Canal+ a little less than a year ago to join TF1, where she succeeded Nikos Aliagas as presenter of the magazine “50′ inside”. This is therefore the first time since 2012 that she has not covered a Top 14 final. The latter took place this Friday and was easily won by Stade Toulousain against UBB (59-3).
“A little pang in my heart is the idea of experiencing this Top 14 final from my sofa for the first time since 2012. Fortunately my friends from Canal+ are there to make me experience it as if I were there”wrote the former presenter of the encrypted channel on X (formerly Twitter) on the sidelines of the Top 14 final.

After joining the Canal+ group in 2009 as a presenter of programs on Infosport+, Isabelle Ithurburu has taken up more and more space on the channel over time. Named for the presentation of the Canal Rugby Club in 2015, the Paloise was also the host of the Nuit du Rugby, an evening rewarding the best players and actors in the world of professional rugby.
It was from her sofa that Isabelle Ithurburu attended
the demonstration of the Stade Toulouse in front of the UBB (59-3). The Haut-Garonnais, led by an once again irresistible Antoine Dupont, thus offered a second Brennus Shield in a row and a second historic double (Top 14-Champions Cup) in three years.
