Toprak Razgatlioglu, current leader of the 2024 Superbike World Championship, expresses his wish to “leave the Superbike World Championship at the end of this year and move to MotoGP”. This revelation is relayed by Speedweek.com, citing the words of his manager, Kenan Sofuoglu.
« There is a lot of interest in Toprak in the MotoGP paddock, already for next year” , said Sofuoglu. « We have a two-year contract with BMWbut I have already informed BMW that we want to leave the Superbike World Championship at the end of this year and move to MotoGP. I explained to them that it was Toprak’s wish. »
Sofuoglu insisted that
Razgatlioglu would not join MotoGP
as a factory team driver. If this condition is maintained, its options for 2025 would theoretically be limited to Repsol Honda,
Monster Yamaha or Apriliathe official Ducati and KTM teams are already complete.
