The former Montreal Canadiens goalie became the first in the history of the National Hockey League (NHL) to win at least one victory against 33 different franchises.

No other goalkeeper before him managed to defeat so many teams during his career.

A second-round pick of the St. Louis Blues in 2008, Allen recorded his first win on February 13, 2013 against the Detroit Red Wings. It was the first of his 197 victories since arriving in the NHL. It should therefore reach the plateau of 200 by the end of the year.

Allen was acquired by the Devils at the NHL’s most recent trade deadline for a conditional third-round pick in the 2025 draft.
